How to control flies in your yard without poison
It's been a wonderfully-rainy winter and spring here in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Since this is the desert, and water is precious, everyone is happy. Including the flies. Yes, there are a LOT of flies around right now. And if you're out there spraying poison, I'm gonna ask you to stop. Not only is it bad for you, your dogs, and the environment, it really doesn't get many flies. You're really better off not using poison at all, but instead to attract them into a trap. I'm not selling anything here, and you can probably find something similar to what I just got today at Home Depot. It's simply a trap, and you add water which releases the smell that the flies like (yuck - don't have it too close to the patio) and the flies fly into the trap, and can't get out.
